Well, I think it is a little too soon to be complaining about how an investigation is being run. Merrick Garland has been a judge for a long time in addition to his other work. It is DOJ policy to not discuss on-going investigations for good reason. We to know that there have been people charged in connection with the insurrection. A not-so-easy task when we are relying on pictures of the event and citizen involvement for identification. Garland also has other issues to cover, how many of the current DOJ appointees of Trump may be working towards other ends and need to be replaced, other investigations that may involve Trump's actions while president which may have statute of limitations issues. He has a pile of work on his plate, particularly for a guy who the GOP Senate didn't confirm exactly at the speed of light. It is also better to have an appropriate investigation underway than a quick one that may leave out critical elements.
