Swatting is an illegal act, it puts police, first responders and innocent civilians at risk. However his followers don’t seem to care. How would they like it if the federal judge in Texas who is making all the anti abortion rulings, the governor of a red state or even a person with a trump lawn sign on their property were the victims of such an act? It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

During the time when TFG was not on Facebook or Twitter there was a relative period of calm. He needs to have his oxygen removed. It’s like when an oil well explodes, you cap it and the danger is over.

One last thing, how pathetic during his courtroom rant to refer to himself in the third person.

Americans crave entertainment over substance. Sadly.

What is frightening is how many. MAGA(T)s follow this demented person and are there sufficient Americans who realize not voting is a vote for him? What it means to have a demented, unscrupulous being as Prez? And, will voters get out & vote Joe, currently only Dem running, to save our Republic/democracy?

I posted this on social media yesterday: If you or I whined incessantly in a courtroom in front of a presiding judge we would be deemed disrespectful. This grifter is NOT presidential! #TFG4Prison #LockHimUpAlready

I guess what I don’t understand is why any Trump supporter who can still think outside the cult would stand by someone who depends upon lies to make his point and summons violent foot soldiers to do his bidding? They surely must realize that this is not a viable nor long-term strategy for winning hearts and minds?

My thoughts are that the great MAGA majority for Trump may, on a good (or bad) day, may reach 25 to 30 percent of the electorate (not the population), and the Republican Party has never had more than 30% of the voters, so let's continue to push Biden and others to continue to remind the country and the world that Donny Boy is spouting that is not not only insurrection but a total change in our way of life. As I have always said, I am an optimist, and I do not believe, with the exception of maybe the hard core MAGAs, that Republicans and independents will vote for him when they get into that voting booth. If I am wrong, we are surely totally screwed.

Steven I share your thoughts completely. But "absorb" what he says everyday, not a chance. I read and listen, but for the past 7 years his words never get by truth filter. His hate will never stop until he's in a sound proof prison cell, or he disappears. Only then can we begin the long process of healing.

After Donnie's out of control (typical) outburst in Judge Engeron's courtroom, and his ignorant/stupid comments about magnets and COVID, I wonder how any journalist/editorialist can take this guy seriously. Donnie is so emotionally unhinged, intelligence/rationally impaired why is he given any legitimacy by the Press?

I read the WSJ story about the courtroom outburst just now. The writers treat this event as though it's normal. A former President of the United States, former Leader of the Free World, current Leader of the Republican Party: "his remarks veered more personal toward the judge". WHAT? The attempt by "evenhanded" writers to avoid the obvious--that this guy is completely out of his mind--is laughable! Treating Donnie like he has any business running for President, or any other elected office in America, is a dereliction of their duty to tell the truth.

Today I'll send notes to the editorial boards of all the major press, print and broadcast, and demand they stop coddling this clown. Their failure makes them complicit in the Big Con.

Generally speaking the judicial system has been our saving grace in trump's relentless attacks on our democracy, though the pace is too slow for the extreme threat he poses. Yet, that is the way the system is designed, and rightly so. However, it does seem to me that at many points along the line in these various criminal proceedings trump has been treated differently from other defendants. He has been threatened with gag orders but enforcement has been timid, and he has received only slaps on the wrist while fomenting a groundswell of anger among his cult members aimed at violence towards members of the court and others. This has to be seen as a failing considering the enormous risk that so many people are being subject to by an obvious sociopath.

I wish Judge Engoron had not let Trump speak at closing argument. It seems that no matter what limits are placed or discipline to comply with rules are put upon or attempted, he always gets away with his own selfish agenda. His entire life has been entitled, and he does not know the meaning of NO.

There has not been one ‘slow news day’ since he came down that golden escalator! He needs to be in prison to keep the majority of Americans sane.

At some point, and not far away, the courts will have to disallow Trump from speaking in court. He can't be trusted to obey the rules. He's never done so in his life. He'll complain about losing freedom of speech, of course, but with freedom must come restraint and respect for rules and conventions. He has none.

If Christie is half the man he portrays to us he should support Biden. His past actions probably mitigate against that.

It was refreshing to hear Governor Christy take a lone stand against the former president who will make a mockery of our tConstitution and legal system. The country best wake up and stop this criminal from gaining the presidency again!

There is only one way we will be ever be rid of trump. I don't wish it, life is precious, but I believe it is true, unfortunately.

(Again, this did not come through to me as an email. ???)
