It certainly sounds hopeful. The burn pit thing should be hung around the GOP neck every day.

Thankfully, it would seem these things are coming together and acted upon at last, after almost three years. And so, yes, there is HOPE with these tickets, to win.

Yes. For weeks, even months, as the 1/6 committee was showing evidence through their televised hearings and brave witnesses, I was concerned that the DOJ wasn't doing anything. Part of me said that the DOJ was acting out of the limelight, as weak it should; but part of me was getting frustrated that AG Merrick Garland was not doing what it should, maybe out of concern for political fallout. However, I was reassured this week by news reports of DOJ summoning witnesses for the grand jury. Clearly they have to build a good case in quiet, behind closed doors, before making a move. It is great to see that DOJ is moving. The health of our democracy is on trial. No one can be permitted to be above the law. Any person involved with trying to overturn a free and fair election and thus Hubert the right of the people, must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Our elections are a bedrock of our democracy. We can't let them be the victims of conspirators who acted in numerous ways to overturn those elections. I am much relieved this week as I see that the DOJ is working, the system is working, and most importantly, that it looks like we are on the correct track to save our democracy.
