Many claim that unresponsive government led to the support of conservative types for "outsider" Donald Trump. People said they were not being heard. He was going to burn up the trappings of our established system or "drain the swamp". But the criminal attempted this by bastardizing and corrupting nearly every department, agency and office of government. It is the "uncorrupting" of his corrupt government which many liberals and democracy-supporting Americans now yearn for. Though President Biden speaks of doing just that, the process seems so excruciatingly slow and now recently, even off-course a bit. You are correct, Steven, that it is time for Merrick Garland to demonstrate a strong, public stance to assure the country that this "total clean-up" will happen. Else we will be the ones who believe we have an unresponsive government.

That pictured episode should have ended Trump’s quest for the WH. News programs should not be able to lie. If “News” is in the title of the program there should be a standard for truth. Not opinion. A network should be held to a standard.

I am confident that there are issues that will come to light in time. There is so darn much to unwrap!

Paladin or Reaper. That’s the choice. I’m still hoping for Paladin, but if he waits much longer it’s going to have to be the Reaper; which will inspire rather than quell the Q’s to further madness.

Is voter turnout really going to matter when Republicans are going to put people in power, in their states, to overturn any election that doesn't go their way? Look at the idiocy in AZ. I am still deathly afraid the President Biden is going to be our last fairly elected President. 2024 is going to be an installation of the GQPs choosing. Which brings me to Merrick Garland. What is is doing or, more importantly, not doing, has a direct impact on the voting issues. He is, by his silence, letting these people get away with all of this, up to and including the insurrection of 1/6. Silence is complicit. The Democrats are also doing the county no favors. What should have happened, immediately after the Republicans voted no on the commission to investigate 1/6, is the Democrats named a select committee to do it on their own. When the cries of how unfair this is and yada, yada, yada, from the Republicans, all the Democrats have to do is tell them, we gave you the chance and you voted no. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The Democrats are still playing by some archaic "rules" and still referring to the traitors, as their friends across the aisle. Why did we fight so hard to get Biden elected and the Democrats in the majority, however slim, just to have them behave like it's business as usual. I am disgusted by all of this. I am sick of horrible people getting away with their horrible deeds while the democracy dies and good people suffer. Enough!
