It seems that women have been warning us for years that Putin was a destroyer of democracy and freedom. Women like Madeline Albright, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi have been sounding the alarm for years. The anti-democratic forces in the U.S. by those who are on the "right", just as urgently, need to weakened of their power just as our efforts to stop Putin are doing. We would do very well to heed the words of these intelligent, insightful women, for our country's sake.

You have explained Albright's life, what more can I with a no-depth knowledge of her, say.She was a bright, courageous woman.

Rand Paul came to the fore through his father. Ron, it seems, also liked Russia, but often says, does things with which the son disagrees. While Rand has introduced many pieces of legislature, I don't think any have ever really passed. He considers himself a libertarian for low taxes, cutting foreign aid which puts him on the Republican side of politics. He has done some good works, i.e.providing eye care for those who could not pay. Like most of us, he stands for some good things, but also, the opposite. His choice of Russia over the US position is the latter. Saying Russia has a right to reclaim all the territory and Russian peoples held during the Soviet Union compares with Hitler saying Germany had a right to claim Austria, Poland Czechoslovakia, and all places where Germans lived and spoke the language. He is backed up by people like Tucker Carlson and other Fox crazies, this in turn, convincing trump followers to, well, follow, many of whom have no idea what the Soviet Union was or realize the evil being done by Vladimir Putin. They, including Paul, are all lined up behind trump who said he would paint planes to look like they were from China and bomb the S.. out of Russia at the same time he is still asking his pal, Putin, for incriminating evidence on the Bidens. No logic, irrational, absurd. I recall the "bravery" of Paul when , during some demonstrations for something, some of them followed him. He ran ,scared,to the police and told them that the demonstrators were going to kill him. Surely, Kentucky should send Paul back to eliminating cataracts.
