I said it on Twitter and I will say it here in response to your comments regarding Mitch McConnell. When are the Democrats going to stand up to him, grow a pair and do what should be done. Their naivity is beyond the pale. Enough already! You know the Democrats will give in to this extension to December and then will have to go through this all over again. What is the definition of insanity? Democrats doing the same thing over and over. Eventually, maybe we can take care of Manchin and Synema too in the not to distant future. Talk about the lust for money and power over country. These three are shining examples of what is so wrong in this country. I am mad.

Always. Democrats cleaning up the Republicans mess. It’s time to let the Republicans stand in their own mess. Call their bluff.

Hope I'll believe it when I see it. I have none with these people or the gop/gqp or those that should have stopped and prevented their behavior in the first place. Agree with all the other comments I have nothing and no more to prove to them, they have everything to prove to me, until then I'm done with them.

Mr. Beschloss, you precisely hit on every point of McConnell’s hypocrisy and by extension the GOP’s duplicity.

One thing I would like to underline is the game of chicken McConnell is playing with debt ceiling, using it as leverage.

McConnell had absolutely no problem with raising the debt ceiling to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. And while the Democrats opposed those tax cuts, they would not think of exposing our country to a catastrophic default on our public debt. Policy differences were put aside as our Nations debts must be serviced, regardless of how or why they were accrued.

McConnell will never be recognized as a Statesman or Leader (even though Leader is in his title within the GOP caucus). No, McConnell is just a lowly shill, a partisan hack.
