What I saw of the searing House testimony on Tuesday about January 6 confirms how right Nancy Pelosi was not to seat Kevin McCarthy’s culpable circus performers. I will return to this subject and the promise of subsequent hearings to shift the trajectory of the insurrection investigation and democracy’s fate.
But this week my mind is focused on a death in the family, so I hope you will understand my need to briefly hit the pause button. Hold your loved ones close.
