This article defined us versus them. Common sense is a difficult commodity these days among the unvaccinated. Those of us who are vaccinated and live according to the rules mandated by the CDC are, indeed, losing patience, and worst of all, seem not to care about what happens to the unvaccinated. I have had all three shots and just this morning got my flu shot and second shingles shot. To say I am highly vaccinated is an understatement. Yet, here I sit, mind and body intact, responding to your newsletter. No silverware attached to me yet!

Thank you for continuing to speak truth in these terrible days, when right-wing politics has become a death-dealing nightmare.

Apparently not. Human animals are the only animals on this poor planet who are suicidal. We are by far the most dangerous and destructive animals on this planet!

Too many people, who end up in the ICU with Covid, ask to be vaccinated. It’s too late for them.

I have a problem with Republicans and Christians declaring their support for the "Right To Life." We have no parallel in our history in which a political party and a religion have done everything imaginable to lead people to their death. If they really have a god, it is a grizzly little pathetic aggrieved, persecuted gnome that thrives on self-pity.

If people are too cowardly, too docile, or too stupid to see what they are being led into, then the gene pool does not need their contributions. I'm not apolegetic.

For some reason I think the intransigent unvaccinated are angry about more than being told what to do about Covid by the government. I could be very wrong but it seems to me their over the top angry outbursts and malevolent hatred couldn’t possibly be about vaccinations and face masks.

I get the feeling the anti-vaxers & anti-maskers are deeply angry because they believe they’ve been abused by the government in some way they have yet to articulate. I also believe they are being told they’ve been overlooked and mistreated by by the people at FoxNews, et al, in order to advance the Libertarian scheme to destroy our democratic government.

Personally, I believe their irate temper tantrums have more to do with the wage gap between the haves and have-nots than it has to do with Covid. Covid just happened to occur serendipitously at the same time their extreme discontent over their personal finances blossomed.

How do we combat this misplaced fury? Hell if I know! However, I do think President Biden is on the right track. By arranging for the child tax credit to be given on a monthly basis, two years of community college for no charge, affordable daycare, promoting unions and expanded medicare among other initiatives in his Build Back Better Plan, President Biden is carving out his niche as the champion of the working class. The working class just doesn’t “see” it yet.

If the Republicans wish to use Darwinian logic on their followers, so be it. Fewer of them, more of us. Survival of the fittest, etc.
